The views of the lake from our apartment were just unreal, and the heat pumps kept the place perfectly cozy. Chatted to the manager, he was a proper friendly oke, defs.

Only thing was the beds were a bit on the firm side for my liking.

Well-appointed room with sweeping view of the lake. Stunning and incredible location, nearby all the main areas to visit in Taupo.

The room was tidy and the view was excellent. The staff were very welcoming & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

There was only a couple of things that were a little off. We had a little spa bath but the jets didnt work and we had a trail of ants in our bathroom at one stage. Either were not really a problem at all.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a biking trip and it completely exceeded my expectations. The pools were fantastic and just steps from my room. Peter and the team were amazing, very accommodating with bike storage and local recommendations.

wifi was a bit patchy at times.

Our apartment had a view of Lake Taupo and the sunset one night was fantastic. One good restaruant close by, Ploughman Inn, need a car otherwise. Try Portofino. The apartment needs a proper heater instead of a blow heater which turns itself on all night. Shower is average, beds are average. We ended up sleeping in separate rooms. The beds did have plenty of bedding and electric blankets. Overall for price quite reasonable.

Room stunk of cigarette smoke after requesting non smoking and double room came with two single beds pushed together which is unacceptable.

Easy access from road. Easy to find. Large spacious room. Very large bathroom. Double bed comfortable.

Cold. Heating inadequate. Wall heater very noisy. No electric blankets on small beds. No spare blankets. Needs a good paint and decorate as decor very outdated. Kitchen drawer stiff and not closing properly. Light switches difficult to find. Dining chairs uncomfortable and falling apart. Lounge suite not positioned for easy television viewing. Access not adequate for those who have mobility problems - no hand rail and stairs extremely slippery when wet.

The resort Owner/Manager/Receptionist was great, she was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her knowledge of the region was extensive which was useful as we were from out of town. the facilties were of a high standard and the view from your balcony overlooking Lake Taupo was breath taking. Throughly enjoyed our stay there and will definitely stay again if we are in that region. Overall 10 out of 10.

The two-bedroom apartment with Lake View was absolutely stunning! 👌 Immaculate rooms and a mesmerizing view made it feel like a slice of paradise. Only downside was having to leave!

Fine Views and Excellent Hospitality

I was blown away by the nice views from our two-bedroom apartment, immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts welcomed us warmly and even had the heater running upon our late arrival. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the need for a few more privacy options in the shared areas.

Manager was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Website we booked our rooms through didn't allow us to book in more then 2 people although it was a 2 bedroom unit with 4 beds. Would have like to know the cost when booking for four people.

The two-bedroom apartment offered a fine view of the lake, complemented by really good cleanliness and spaciousness. The pool area stood out, being well-maintained and enjoyable for the family, while the homemade desserts provided a good end to our evenings. The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally unreliable, and there was noticeable noise from neighboring units at times. While the furnishings were comfortable, they seemed slightly outdated compared to the lovely surroundings.

I liked the vuiew from the Spa Pool to the lake ...Worth the trip . The rooms are a bit spare and could do with more pictures and flowers . Jazzing the rooms up a wee bit and make them warmer .

The Heater in our unit was a disaster , Too noisy and not effective .The rooms need modern Heat Pumps . Taupo is cold..
